Zoho Mail is a component of the wider Zoho ecosystem–a popular choice among small to medium enterprises. It’s preferred for smaller organizations that are working with smaller budgets. The platform offers access to mobile applications and other productivity features, at very affordable rates. Zoho Mail is also secure. The simplicity of the control panel is certainly an advantage and it provides a big-picture overview of communications.

Ability to send mass emails by customer segmentation. Commercial, non-commmercial, etc.
They don’t make it easy for you to figure out how to get it directly to our consumer base by lists. If they had this, it’d be so much easier to figure out our CTR and Open-Rate.
See above - Getting it to our direct end-consumer, it’s not a very easy process.
I like the collaboration aspects of Zoho Mail and think it has some great options for working with teams. There are lots of ways to access team calendars as well as to organize your email so that filters are flowing correctly. I also like that it is an "out there" type platform that not many people tend to use. It makes it more interesting to learn and gives you a bit of a thrill (of sorts) to navigate through it. So many things are the same these days so it's nice to have a bit of a change when it comes to Zoho Mail.
Personally I do not think Zoho Mail is that great. I don't think it's bad, but it's not great. There are so many things that differ from other email outlets I've used that make it more tricky to navigate. It also does not allow for as much storage as other platforms. There are technological issues often, especially because Zoho is not directly correlated with things such as Microsoft, which can make sharing and receiving documents/files a bit of a nuisance. I also do not really like how the site is organized. Honestly I think that it is an ugly (for lack of better words) platform layout and could definitely be improved. Because of it's appearance I feel that it makes productivity lower than it could be.
Problems I have been able to solve with Zoho Mail would be calendar collaboration. Out of all of it's properties, I think this is what they have down pat the best. It is beneficial for teams to work on and to have details on projects, deadlines, etc. However I don't think it is necessarily worth it compared to other platforms, even though the calendar portion is quite nice. Something else I have solved with Zoho Mail is the ability to navigate through a mail platform that is not used as heavily as others, say Gmail or YahooMail or Outlook. It makes you think and makes you understand more diverse ways of utilizing different platforms in order to best understand your way with technology. I used to use Zoho with a company I worked for in the past, now I just have my own account which I haven't used as much as I did when I worked for the other company but for personal use I think it's unneccesary.
Best thing is that Zoho provides video sharing platform features which i think is quite interesting feature over its competitive rivals. We can share our screen with whole team at the same time.
Sometimes it takes longer time to login in the system. I dont know if this is a bug or not.
We share videos, screens in my team when in meeting. It has been a greate help for us using it.
Zoho Mail is lightweight but with a wide range of optional extras. Also integrates with the Zoho suite.
Although Zoho Mail allows you to send group emails it doesn't have a distribution list feature in the same line as Outlook.
Previously had problems missing important emails. Zoho's simple email categorization system makes this better.
Zoho provides a lot of functionalities out of the box for nearly free (upto 5 mail accounts) for any business who wish to get started with email hosting. The admin panel is very powerful along with variety of features to help manage your users , generating passwords , handling of IMAP/POP3 with many other wonderful features. You can use multi factor authentication too out of the box + use of mobile admin app to manage most of the things set this service as a go to. And yes the use of tabs is the most unique feature I really loved about zoho.
The settings are very much difficult to manage & bit complicated as well. There are lot of moving parts in the interface & using them efficiently is still a pain with its interface. The mobile application offered has very limited functionalites & the worst part is not able to desktop signatures & on mobile apps which is just very bad implementation on zoho's part.
Since we handle support for all our products differently, we gave a shot to zoho mail. The onboarding was easy & by default it helps us to handle DKIM & SPF settings painlessly. We used SMTP and connected to one of our backend servers to handling email verification & other password services too.
Zoho Mail is a powerful application for mobile devices that has many options available to give all users who make the valuable decision to install it on their mobile device and it is an optimized set and functions where you will have the option to check your email, calendar , contacts, files and reminders in a single application that is Zoho Mail.
One of the biggest problems of this mobile application is that you usually find very little what it offers is to say it offers almost nothing to its users and that they are forced to use other tools to complete it, in turn if you want to get more out of it To this application you should go to buy the paid version of this application where there if you can get the best caliber to this excellent tool for your company.
This is an application that allows or works in conjunction with other applications for your company, in addition to that it facilitates the management of your emails that you can obtain them in a fast and safe way from your mobile device, you can also manage several accounts since currently all We have a personal, for work another for the blog and thanks to Zoho Mail you can see this in an orderly way thanks to a unified tray that it has.
Zoho mail provides free email services with most of the important features included. You can also get the paid version with all the features by paying extra
Capacity is limited in the free version.
When starting a business we will not have enough infrastructure to host a mail server or buy premium services.
It is easy to connect you domain with zoho mail to create and host business emails. Zoho offers 3 ways of doing this depending on the platform where you domain is hosted. The interface is neat on web and mobile.
Zoho's incoming emails take so long to be show in the inbox yet the outgoing emails are instant. I'm on the trial version, so am not sure whether its quicker on a professional plan
Most web hosting platforms have poor email services that have ugly user interfaces. Zoho offers a better designed email solution that looks more professional
That it is free and I can use my domain as my email address.
It is not super user friendly. I has it's problems and cannot integrate into other programs like gmail can.
Free email hosting with my domain name
I use zoho docs for a lot of stuff already, which is why I tried Zoho Mail. Well, I wouldn't normally use it very much, as I like my personal gmail account very much. However, when I got my wordpress.com website going with a custom domain, I wanted to get an email address with that domain attached. However, if you go through gmail you have to pay for that. I finally found out that Zoho Mail allows this. However, it was very difficult. I don't even remember how i did it. Nevertheless, my Mail.app client sends and receives mail with my custom domain email address, and somehow it is working through zoho mail.
it was super hard to figure out that domain mapping email address. I don't even know how i did it anymore.
FREE custom email address
Zoho mail gives you a professional email address to use for your business. This is what is needed in the professional world. Sending is easy when using the app on your phone or tablet.
Setting up email accounts on the website generate more issues since the update. My new accounts can receive email but have problems when trying to send messages out. The phone application works with no issue, this is mostly on the website.
Good for business emails
I enjoy that it is part of the zoho family
it lacks in how it integrates with the other crm data
What I appreciate about the service is every email, when functioning properly will file each email with the appropriate contact.
Zoho Mail is a business solutions service, with a lot of features that are aimed more at enterprise users than personal email users. The best part is the difference and power of Zoho mail over Gmail. It has many new features and though they might not make a huge difference, it matters to me. The attachment files viewing stuff are really great, allowing us to have a look of all the attachments in our mail. The free pack offers Ad-free usage with maximum of 25 users allowed for our domain, which is great for a free service.
Though it has many good features, I feel the number of features is a bit overcrowded making it less user friendly. As I have already said, it is focused for enterprise users than personal mail users. The higher cost packages are worthier. The free package, though, has a decent amount of features is not so well off compared to big giants in E mail services.
Zoho mail is a much required service for new start ups, to set their own e-mail ID and have an interaction amongst each other. I have used the basics of the service and feel satisfied. Zoho Mail gives you a clean, ad-free interface, but it seems to sacrifice a lot of features that come standard with other free email services to promote its paid services.
Easy to us, easy, less complicated, great for productivity, unified communication, and for collaboration between teams
Sometimes errors are frequent, websites often error
Send email
the vast amount that can be done on one platform is very good!
the setting up process, error here, help there i or we gave up
for us we were excited to see a CRM and form integration!
It's cheap, easy when you get the flow, and everything is connected so it's easy to handle multiple taks at a time. Best is the Zoho marketing tool and how it automates it.
When I started using Zoho it's hard for me to learn the flow as everything is connected. And redirecting to different apps can be difficult sometimes. Yup so the UI can be something which one can work on. And a non technical person may find it more difficult to get hands on.
The first problem Zoho is solving is that it keeps everyone and everything in contact, which in one way or another releases a lot of work load and pressure too. The second is how it can highlight the tasks which needs attention or should be at priority.
We are using the Zoho email, quite recently, it's userfriendly although we can set reminders and can add tasks so that we don't need to specially write a note in the email itself we can create everything.
It would be great if we can download the option on the attached images, other than that I do not have any regrets about using this email.
Setting up the meetings\ Interviews and we can find out all the attachments in one place that's one of the great features also it's budget-friendly for the startups like us.
I adore this app, and the best part is how simple it is to configure and integrate with other apps such as Slack and Dropbox. They provide the IMAP/POP3 protocols, allowing us to send and receive email without leaving Gmail.
The limited editions are extremely limited. It has a lot of cool features, but they can be a little overwhelming for non-technical people. It takes some time to figure out how everything fits together.
All of my associates are extremely satisfied with Zoho because they have never encountered any difficulties as a result of the user-friendly user interface. I am grateful to Zoho for providing such excellent service.
I like using Zoho mail because it helps in blocking spam messages and sort out various mails with ease. There is a facility of shared inboxes as well. You can also recover data very easily. Data recovery is one of the best features that I enjoy about Zoho mail. Also, blacklisting and white listing is quite an amazing feature that I like about Zoho mail. It makes it easy to keep only those people in loop that are important and keeping those out who are simply spam.
One of the things that I don’t like about zoho mail is that they don’t have the right kind of customer service. If you try to contact them, the replies and responses may be quite delayed and the problem you are facing might never be resolved. The contact options are not as required and even if you contact them, they don’t respond most of the times. One other things I don’t like is that they keep rising the prices of some very basic features which is quite disappointing.
One thing that has proven to be quite beneficial for us, overall is that monitoring of emails has become easier for me. The inbox sharing system has helped us a lot as well. Zoho email has a nice and easy to understand layout as well. So we were using Zoho email for our business emails as well.
