The contact with my account manager has been a huge plus. Massi is always on hand to support when I need it. Much better experience than with other platforms I have worked with.
The need to utilise Zapier to link Active Campaign to external applications is a little frustrating and something that comes with a cost to Zapier. An increase in direct integrations would be a huge plus.
The design of emails has been extremely helpful. The ability to use a form to "track and trace" during the pandemic has been invaluable.

Are you a small business needing big boy software tools? Well, ActiveCampaign is the answer for your team. We joined the ActiveCampaign family in mid-2020 after working for years to simplify our outreach to prospects and customers via email. We are trying to kill them daily by begging for business but we wanted to be able to add some SME for them on a continuous basis over a period of about 14 months easily. Turns out ActiveCampaign is our solution. Let me share more... We use Salesforce for our CRM. We wanted to find something that would integrate to that easily in the marketing platform space. ActiveCampaign checked that box like a champ. We setup the system, learned about it from the videos, and met with our personal account manager 1:1 for about 90 days as needed. Result: We have a really cool automated process where we add leads automatically to our Salesforce system via our research of those that we think are likely to do business with us. This in turn will add this lead to our AC system and auto-enroll them to our outbound campaign process. That's it. We click one button and these prospects are learning about our ability over the next year via their opted in permission to hear our great detailed articles that go to them twice per month. The best part is how the AC system scores their activity and notifies us when we have a compelling reason to reach out and chat. Pretty cool stuff... We don't really have any dislikes. But, if I had my choices, I'd give the admin the ability to control the visibility of features. For example, if I use another CRM, then I'd hide deals features. One other note, on the contact record, the title field needs to be capable of integration in the Salesforce integration. Today, you have to duplicate the title field to have it work in the integration which means that it shows twice in AC on the contact record page.
Our problem we have solved with AC is that we have made it easier and a better experience for our readers and followers to learn more about our expertise. We can do this with the click of a button in our system and the rest of it is automated.
It has a lot of things you can do to optimize your CLTV with your list.
Can become complicated and it's comparatively costly compared to other mailing platforms.

I love Active Campaign's powerful features, balanced with simplistic UI and UX.
Not so much dislike, but being able to produce automation sequences within automations such as Infusionsoft have had for many years, would save the need to make multiple automations to achieve one result.
Customer communication has improved enormously through the power of automated emails. We have also greatly saved time on manual input of sales pipeline work for our sales team by allowing automations to cleverly pick up on signals that indicate where automation should do the leg work.
ActiveCampaign did everything I wanted it do, and when I asked for a new integration, my rep and support people got on it quickly.
I would like to see frequent additions to truly top-notch email template designs — ones that nobody would expect were templates.
I'm able to create complex "if this, then that" dynamic behavioral response campaigns that allow me to express the personal touch I desire to give every client, even though it's not physically possible for me to handle so many people individually myself.
ActiveCampaign has an easy to use design interface that I use to make monthly newsletters. I like that you can specify 6-digit hex value color codes.
Nothing comes to mind that I dislike about this product.
We can easily streamline the newsletter designing process, by saving certain elements of the design to be used in future newsletters.
I like the possibility to catalog every single contacts by give them a special tags, that could also activite any automation. I love that you could build all the automations that you need and you can link activecampaign with all the platforms you have.
Sometimes it has some problem in the path divion by putting contacts in the wrong place inside the automation. Maybe i'm wrong during the building.
it let me to improve my business by making it faster and profitable without spent a lot of time by sending the correct mail to every single Lead. This allows me to concentrate on other aspects of my business.

I think the chat could be improved, it's not very flexible.
I have improved the emailing process with my database. Also I am using it for dealing with new proposals and leads.

At the begining, the chat support fast faster and it was easy to access all the time. I suppose that when they started to grow and getting more customers, the chat support was put on a harder to find page and the awaiting time is a lot longer now.

If you are looking for an easy-to-use tool for your growing small business, you are going to want to add ActiveCampaign.
I can not think of anything that I don't like about this tool.
We use ActiveCampaign for all of our email marketing needs from simple broadcast emails that we send to more elaborate automated nurture campaigns. The integration of landing pages and forms allows us to fully integrate the lead generation process without needed additional tools. And the integration with Gmail allows us to fully engage the CRM so that we are tracking all our communications with clients and prospects in one place.

Creating automation in active campaign is a bit cumbersome
I send out recurring messages with Active Campaign. One advantage is that I can save and reuse campaigns I have sent. It is very useful that e-mails can be sent with a time delay.
It is easy to use. The user interface is easier than most email CRM programs. The educational resources are also great.
There are a few bugs. The contacts don't always load so you have to go back to the main dashboard and start over to access them. Not a big deal though.
Automation! It integrates so well with shopify. It makes keeping in touch with my customers so much easier.
I love how much ActiveCampaign has helped me seamlessly automate my client nurturing. I honestly don't know where I'd be without it!

Keeping in contact with leads and clients has always been something I've struggled with. AC has solved that problem through automation.
The 2 absolute favorite features are Automations and Custom Fields.
I do think the breadth of reporting on the Plus plan is rather limiting without upgrading to Professional or Enterprise.
We're able to create master automations that allows us to see the overall standings of subscribers and clients at any given time. The master automations also allows us to ensure a subscriber or client receives a customized experience while getting to know us and while working with us.
Anytime I've had issues, Support has been able to help get me resolved immediately.
No dislikes. One time an agent forgot to record our zoom call so as a sorry they sent me a pair of Kanye socks! Who else would do that?
I'm creating better relationships with my customers. It's also helping us keep track of what our customers are interested in that's to the great tagging system.
It is so important to keep an overview of what you are actually creating. The automation flow total picture became so important for me, I once printed it out to display my business model.
Active Campaig is complex and this complexity should be reviewed with a kick as UI/UX. You can do better here, for example picture uploads could be accessed by all team members and should be better sorted.
