It helps to edit the photos fast and smoothly. I started using Photoshop in 2005 when I was learning this tool. Now for my professional purpose, I frequently need it to edit and enhance various photographs. In short the ease of using the software is what I like the most.

Whenever a new version gets released, it still takes a lot of time to search where the desired tool is as it was there in the previous version of the softwared.

It is helping me to edit several photographs or graphics in a rapid time. Also, the available fonts help enhance the images even more. Thus, it takes care of both texts and graphics.

Superior functionality for both simple and complicated projects. I appreciate easy-to-remember keystroke shortcuts for efficiency. Automated scripts simplify repetitive actions.

I hate that I must subscribe to use it on my new power Mac. I still carry around my old MacBook in case I need to use any of my Adobe CS6 products. :{

I mostly use it for cropping and sizing photos these days, though in the past I have used it for more complicated photo editing and detailed graphic production.

Adobe is constantly adding updates, new features, fine tuning existing features and they seem to be listening to their users. Some of the features that have come out recently I could only have dreamed about 15 years ago. Not having to physically outline an object with any degree of success...fantastic!

With constant changes come constant learning. It's sometimes difficult to keep track of new features, shortcuts etc. It's worth learning but it can be a slow process.

I don't need to spend as long composing an image as I would have to if I couldn't "fix it in post". I'm able to cobble together things I need from various elements without wasting time.

The program itself is easy to work with. You can also find tutorial videos really easy if there is something you do not already know how to do.

Monthly costs are not affordable. I miss the days where you could just buy the product and call it good.

Photoshop has a great number of things that make it so great but just the ability to quickly edit photos in any number of ways for use in graphic design is indispensable. The number of tools available to edit photos is very impressive and makes me wonder how designers were able to produce some of the 4 color process designs before the advent of photoshop. Photoshop takes the power of design to great heights.

There is so much that the program can do that I don't have time to learn everything on the fly and don't have enough time to properly devote to learning about the whole program and it's intricasies. Some of tools overlap a bit and maybe offer a bit of redundancy but that isn't so much of a problem. I do not care for the cloud base subscription model that Adobe has moved to but that is the way of all things at the moment. It also is not reflective of the power of the program itself but only reflects the marketing.

I am a graphic designer that often times has to reproduce large scale designs from already printed material in a digital environment. The ability to to hi-res scans and quickly stitch them together and edit them is a great tool in my designers belt. Photoshop also allows me to make color corrections to photos on the fly with relative ease. I have multiple tools that allow me to control color, contrast and brightness in many different ways. Sometimes it almost seems like there are too many options. But that is a good problem to have.

Photoshop has been around for a very long time and still continues to improve. The capabilities for editing photos, creating graphics, batch editing, and performing touchups is second to none. I use Photoshop daily for enhancing product photos which are used on our website, creating graphics for print, logo concepts, editing photos, retouching photos, and so much more. I'd be lost without it.

There is not much to dislike here. It can be annoying if you want to save your work locally and they keep pushing you to use the cloud, however, that isn't a deal-breaker by any means.

Photoshop has many time-saving features such as actions, batch processing, and presets. The ability to quickly and efficiently modify and create graphics saves a lot of resources if it were to be done elsewhere.

As I mentioned Adobe's Photoshop is one of the perfect image editing software so far. It has all the controls for any type of editing and can be very handy to use.

There are not a single downside I went on it, only thing anyone can mention is that it needs alot of practice to gets hands-on, once got used to it, it is of so much of help.

Adobe's Photoshop is helping our office team in developing content, like all the educational videos which needs drawings, illustrations,etc are made at our business with the help of this.

Photoshop has become so powerful, it continues to amaze with new tools to make old ways of doing things easier.

Its hard to dislike this software, but maybe just that its gotten so huge I'll never use all the functions!

Adobe Photoshop integrates seamlessly with all the other Adobe products. It is powerful for quick edits to photos. And I can make product photos shot with a 2008 Low-end DLSR look beautiful (on the web.)

I like to use smart objects, but how I use them bogs down my computer's speed. Instead, I've been stamping edits instead of creating smart objects. Also, I would like to see some features implemented to make digital painting by tablet more user-friendly. Similar to procreate, dragging out and holding a line would snap it straight, or drawing a shape and holding it would snap that shape. I have to work between photoshop and procreate now and I would much rather just work in photoshop.

I can create great digital illustrations fast, without the need to buy paints, paper, etc. I am also able to create great product shots and and photographs for reproduction with ease.

So many features are excellent. I love that they decided to make the scale in proportion without holding down the shift button.

I wouldn't say I like it that a few versions ago, they switched up the Filter Gallery, and there is no longer a dropdown about that.

Adobe Photoshop is solving so many problems in my profession as a Graphic Designer. From doing mockups, color correction, and any sort of photo or image manipulation.
