Compare Airtable with other popular tools in the same category.
Database setup is easy and requires no knowledge of SQL or other database languages.
Nothing. The app does everything I need it to do.
I use AirTable to keep track of a large library of technical standards, as well as continuing professional development activities, and my vehicle service records.
It's user-friendly. Even members of our board who are not very tech-savvy are able to maneuver around in Airtable. It's very easy to collaborate on tasks. New fields and tables can be added or deleted once a project begins and changes need to be made.
Honestly, I haven't found a downside with Airtable.
We use Airtable as our CRM, volunteer management database, project management and document storage. Centralizing our core work processes makes for smoother work flow and information is easy for our members to locate.
It is able to be processed and kept as a database and also can be linked to multiple other platforms for automation purposes. It can also be programmed to suit the needs of a company.
The learning curve in using Airtable since there are multiple concepts to be explored before getting the hang of it.
As a data analyst, Airtable serves as a database to store data and be able to apply other functionalities that other regular databases to not have the ability to do.
Having all of your information presented to you in exactly the way you want (in nice colours) , being able to automate tasks and work collaboratively, streamlining processes.
The back end of automations can be non-intuitive, not being able to bulk duplicate items. The number of automations we can create per base can also be limiting.
Creates clear, accountable to do lists (seeing the history of an item is great). Automations cut WEEKS of work from my workload. Linked records cut tonnes of communication.
I love and highly recommend Airtable due to it's easy to learn functionality. Whether you are looking to use it for finance, planning, social media or team management it can easily support business owners!
As your business grows Airtable becomes very expensive per seat AND is lacking in a few integration options for having a holistic workflow.
Airtable seamlessly helps remote businesses to collaborate, plan and manage so many different aspects of business growth at the touch of a button (or mobile phone). It's helping both my businesses (one service-based and one product based) growth with my remote team.
Airtable's API is easy to use. It integrates well with Make and Zapier and can work as a database/admin panel for many kinds of no-code projects.
It is more like a spreadsheet than an admin panel so it's easy to delete or overwrite data if you are not careful.
It allows me to create a backend/admin panel/database for no code projects.
Airtable is both very powerful and very useable. We are able to harness the power of a relational database, while ensuring that lawyers, paralegals, students and others can all contribute.
There is nothing I dislike about Airtable. I would probably tweak small things about it, but even some of those issues are being improved over time.
We use Airtable to keep our time records, to maintain discovery logs in litigation, to maintain our firm contacts list, and to serve as our go-to database platform where our cases require managing large sets of information.
The capabilities beyond Excel spreadsheets, and it being user friendly. I like being able to add team members as necessary. The free version has so much that we can use, and we feel comfortable moving forward to a paid subscription in the future.
Nothing, really. Everything has worked well and we love what using.
Airtable is helping me across multiple areas of my professional and personal life. For my businesses, we use to track our editorial calendars, deliverables, action items, and projects. For personal, I keep track of tasks and meal plans.
I love how pretty AirTable is. It could sound too simple, but the look helps to present the data so I can see the whole picture and enjoy working with the table every day.
I would be happy to have the possibility to share the database or make it open so many people can make changes there. Maybe it could be done via a form when you can submit the form and update the answer you already submitted. What I mean by all of this. I would like to give the link to my clients on the table where they can update their tracking and progress. For example, my clients could post weekly updates and see the whole group's progress in one place.
Airtable helps me to work with the data and store it all in one place. I do not need to sort the data by different filters back and forth, because I could create different data views. No more multiple tables; everything is in one place and presented beautifully and neatly.
There are so many things I could name here! The versatility, the features, how easy it is to collaborate and share, the integrations, the solutions this platform provides and streamlines to make staying organized so easy and aesthetically pleasing. I could go on but those are top of mind.
The only thing I dislike is that I didn't find Airtable sooner! Although that is more of a me problem haha.
Airtable is helping me stay organized in my business and in my life. I am able to keep things top of mind and check project statuses at a glance. This helps me to ensure I meet my by-whens without being stressed out trying to remember where I made what note (in my phone, on a piece of paper, a voice note...I used to be so disorganized) because I am able to keep all info in a "Notes" column for the corresponding project in my Airtable!
