Compare GoToWebinar with other popular tools in the same category.
I love that everyone in the company has access to use it.
It is hard to coordinate with other systems
we can communicate with our offices in different countries
it's simple yet reliable with no interruptions or issues
possibly lack of user-intuitive sharing capability
Meeting with companies who are weary of Zoom and other platforms. seems to be trusted
Easy for outside participants to join webinars
Lack of customization and branding opportunities
Patient communication and education
Easy to use, clean interface. Automatically opens the app from the browsers
Nothing yet, so far everything about it has been great
No problems but able to access a variety of webinars through the month
How fast the system is and the reliability
There is not something I dislike about the program
Helps everyone be at one place at once instead of trying to gather everyone in a room
It was so easy to connect to any webinar
Getting disconnected sometimes from meeting
Meetings are easier to schedule
I like the fact that it helps me take notes of all attendees of the webinar- with access to poll results. This poll option is a very good upside of the go-to webinars as it makes it very easy to gauge the audience understanding or capture real-time data.
I observed no downsides whilst using it. I think the product was well developed. It could however be better if new features like roundtable rooms are added to enable team breakout during webinars.
Go-to webinar has helped me solve problems like effective communication with all workplace colleagues, company wide announcements, company wide brainstorming and company wide trainings. This has led to increased business performance overtime
Able to invite and collaborate with multiple users in one efficient location.
Learning hurdles to functionality. Once you have a handle on how the tool works, the sky' is the limit.
I'm able to work remotely, and across multiple locations with efficient product for myself and clients.
The best part is it can easily get integrated with Marketing Automation tools like Eloqua.
That it does not automatically fetches GTW Id in Eloqua for any webinar.
Easy and user friendly webinar hosting platform, syncing leads into Salesforce via Eloqua is quite good.
Go to webinar is an easy to use platform. The site for at least me seems to never crash and it can maintain a good amount of traffic espadrilles during morning hours.
I can't say I dislike any aspect of this. It seems easy to use and others that are on the webinar end seem to find it easy to use compared to other platforms. Even students seem to find it easy.
I can give instructions on a course very easily and quick students can interact in real-time and it makes answering questions a snap. I can accomplish more work when I have everyone connected.
User friendly and the analytics are robust.
The subscriptions will allow 100 participants or 500 participants but nothing in the middle. You are also limited in the number of channels you may have.
Virtual events, recorded videos for clients and prospects and even short video blogs for our video channel.
What I love about this app is that you can easily create and host live and pre-recorded events.
I have not encountered any problems with using this application.
I can easily navigate the app without the help of any. It's very convenient!
I like the product because I can have meetings and training without physically being in the same room as the vendors or users. This saves time and money for traveling
I haven't used it enough to verify if there are any dislikes. It seems like all the features work fine. I have used it with vendors and will be using this product more in the future.
I have been able to collaborate with vendors to learn about their products and view demos of the products. The benefit is, seeing products without having to travel or have physical meetings with vendors.
It is very interactive with no latency and works at low bandwidth internet connection as well.
Addition of toll free options for callback to cellphone on similar lines like Skype to take benefit of getting these discussion even on cell phones. This has helped a lot while using the lync medium
At times, due to limited bandwidth, it does not launch. Can we put a minimum bandwidth threshold which helps the user to keep it handy while planning the calls.
Being a demand gen marketer, webinars is one of the most important channels that I've owned at multiple organizations. Have tried and used multiple tools GoToWebinar is one of the most comprehensive and easy-to-use tools that I have used.
The landing page features I feel are not at par. For flexibility in design could help marketers drive better conversion rates. Moreover, dropping cookies for the prospects who have already registered in the past for other webinar, so that it becomes easier for them to sign up would really help.
We are currently planning all of our webinars from GoTo Webinar and as I mentioned above as well Goto Webinar is the most comprehensive tool that I have used. The tool even runs on low bandwidth ensuring the smooth content delivery to the audience.
Helpful and good performance. Quickly functional
Nothings Special but if they add more features. Background removal
Taking webinars with team. Easily understood features
User friendly, modern dashboard, lots of different report options, excel downloads for the reports, easy to use/teach/learn, easy to have multiple people using.
I don't really dislike a lot about this program, honestly. Sometimes the reports could be a bit more dynamic across multiple webinars, perhaps, but otherwise, I really like everything.
We really used this a lot at my firm during the pandemic. We use it still to promote monthly webinars that cover many practice areas. It allows for easy exposure, and the recording feature allows for easy sharing.
Simple to use for hosts and viewers who are from other organizations.
I do not like the interface as much as other platforms
Sharing training and webinars to different people in different organizations and developing ways to communicate during the training
Presenting our software for demos and training.
The control panel sometimes is tricky to work with.
Being able to present demonstrations to a large group of people. It's easy to share my desktop and poll attendees.
I've used Go to Webinar for 15+ years at various companies and it has stood the test of time for consistency and reliability when it comes to a meeting platform. Particularly when COVID hit and work was forced to go completely digital, GTW didn't miss a beat and despite sampling other meeting platforms, GTW remains my platform of choice. It also provides the most comprehensive options in my opinion for hosting various audiences and speakers that need different access options and the ability to have redundancies on the operator side if someone is out.
The only thing I dislike is that the platform has looked the same for the past 15+ years (the plugin, not the web portion) and maybe that deserves a small facelift.
GoTo Webinar solves the issue of needing to host multiple presenters and also multiple organizers across an organization, no matter if they are internal or external.
Practical though passion-evoking, timely though timeless!
In fact, nothing. Believe me or not, there is absolutely nothing to dislike.
Personal as well as professional.
Great for hosting customer webinars and events
Admin side can be a little unintuitive but just takes a bit
Customer events
Stable and reliable solution, easy and simple to use. It has been a pleasant experience without major setbacks, it is true that some things are missing for my taste but the general functionality meets what I am looking for and solve in a fast and practical way.
Some inconveniences when presenting in full screen, during the last two years I have had some problems with some sound and microphone options
Alternative ways to search or locate secure remote sessions in the last two years I have not had major problems in communicating with people from other organizations and attending various events with great stability,
Easy to use interface, lots of tools to handle webinar dmfrom admin and user perspective. Speed of connection and easy management.
User interface can be enhanced, more customizations for look and feel.
If you have to take webinars at scale, record webinars, interact with users with opionions and polls, go to webinar provide all these tools at hand, easy to host for any number of users and easy to share the recordings.
Ease of use. Stability of the platform and long track record for delivering this type of service
Really not much, but would like to see the web based version match all of the features in the downloadable application version.
Ability to continue to provide professional education to our members without the staff time and expense of conducting live, in person events. The big benefit is being able to record our webinars and then sell these after the fact as on demand programs.
gotowebinar is simple and easy to use. it's very reliable and provides the necessary analytics for future webinars at the end of the presentation. nothing fancy about it, but it's everything you'd want to see.
that "welcome to the webinar speech that the text to speech bot says that the beginning of every webinar is ANNOYING. I can almost recite it from memory. Is there a way to turn that off so i don't get those instructions every time?
Gotowebinar links very easily with our CMS, hubspot, so we're able to host and gate all submissions directly on our website. I find this to be the most convenient feature of the software.
It is set up primarily for Webinars, so that function works very well. It is easy to use.
Not much. It is not as great for other purposes.
We do webinars throughout the year to reach both our members and attract new ones. It just plain works.
Ease of use for attendees and panelists. It's very easy to allow panelists to share their screens for presentations. Automated emails used for reminders pre webinar and messages post webinar are great. We also love that we can share the webinar recordings.
Getting it to work on a Mac can be cumbersome the first time. Hitting the 'Start Broadcast' button starts the webinar immediately, it would be nice if there was an 'Are you Sure' prompt or something similar in case that gets hit by accident. Allowing presenters to test their audio and webcam with the software on their own would be amazing. We have to schedule test sessions with the speakers prior to be sure there aren't any issues with the software on their computers.
We were already hosting monthly webinars using GoTo. Once COVID hit, we've switched to weekly webinars to fill that gap in education and have had huge success.
I use GoToWebinar everyday, 3 times a day. The interface is easy to manage and has a professional look. The "Questions" panel captures crucial feedback from customers that enable me to run lead reports.
The platform expériences company wide issues more than any other platform I've used. However, their customer service department is responsive and they send me updates on the issues.
My company provides CPE credit for free to attendees around the country. This could not happen without the support of virtual platforms.
Aside from the ease and convenience of hosting a webinar, it is very easy to have multiple panelists and to have them presenting at different times. The end user experience is also great. Users can view in an app or in a browser.
I can't really think of anything to dislike.
Holding large company meetings with attendees from across the country.
