I think Omnisend has the most streamlined platform for building visually compelling emails. As well, the devs have continually added improvements to their segmentation technology. It's nice to see they are not resting on their laurels.

Some of the syntax for segment building is clunky. It can be further refined

Email is our single biggest channel and we have used Omnisend happily for the past 3 years. It is responsible for millions in revenue.

I love the automation feature that allows you to send multiple preset emails to customers. I also love the fact that you can import your subscriber list into Facebook automatically so that you can send them targetted ads. I love the analytics which allows me to clearly see how much revenue we made with an advertisement. It might seem like a big expense at first but when you see the value it brings you realize it is an investment

I wish you had the option to send an email according to the customer time zone (mailchimp had this option). It would be nice to have a media gallery to be able to access the pictures that I've uploaded in Omnisend (without having to go and edit an email to see which pictures I have uploaded). It would be great to have custom CSS for templates.

We are able to retain customers by sending them an automated email when they browse our website but dont buy. We have definitely increased our sales since we started using Omnisend.

This is almost exactly like MailChimp so it was easy to integrate into our company. We love the ability to send out mass emails to our customers updating them on pre-orders, discounts, new products, and more. We frequently utilize the "copy campaign" function to keep all of our emails consistent with each other. The analytics are also awesome and we love looking at how many emails were opened and where the most clicks/sales came from.

The only thing I dislike is the audience function. It can be glitchy when it comes to creating segments and tagging people. Then, when you go to choose an audience for a campaign, you can't even choose a segment! You can only choose an audience group from an "import" that you did. So what's the point of segments then?

We are solving a lot of communication and customer service issues with Omnisend. We received feedback that we don't update our customers enough, so when we integrated Omnisend and were able to send out pre-order updates to everyone at once, our rating increased. This helps us stay in touch with our audience more and ensure customer satisfaction.

Good email deliverability and we are sure that all emails will reach our customers. Good customer service. If you have any concerns or problems customer service helps to solve them. Pretty simple and intuitive interface. Powerful automation options.

Lack of themed, holiday email templates. Would be great if there would be even more templates to choose from and use instantly.

Omnisend is really intuitive and easy to set up. I like the visual UI of the design features (templates and etc). All features work well for us. Designing emails and sending automation gone smoothly.

I like that it makes our job much easier because we don't have to work with many different tools. We can achieve better results in less time with less effort.

Omnisend offers many useful features. For example, automated forms helps to increase efficiency and saves time. Other very important tool for us is website tracking which helps to analyze customer behaviour. Reports and A/B testing gives possibility to quickly compare different emails and more. Finally, support is very helpful and creates trust towards their clients.

I do not have any complaints about Omnisend, just need to find time to try all their new features

Previously we didn't use omnichannel features. Now we tried not only emails, but combining them with SMS, also synchronized Facebook. I think it is really great and innovative.

Omnisend not only is a phenomenal platform, but their customer service is exceptional. So glad I found them and they've been a huge help for making my business automated without a robotic feel.

Easy workflow making consistent newsletters a breeze.

I love the automation, takes a lot of the work out of my hands and the extra sales from abandoned cart emails pays for the app and then some.

There's not anything I dislike about omnisend (other than the fact it's not free lol)

I've been using it for a while and any time sales are slow I send out a campaign or even just an email to our subscribers telling them the latest news and it's so helpful. I love being able to see the percentage of subscribers that open/click on an email as this helps me with future campaigns.

As someone who has been building websites for clients since the late 1990's, I have had the luxury of trying a ton of different email and connected marketing solutions apps for several clients, big and small, and the flexibility of Omnisend truly is an experience like no other. This application is so easy to use and the help and tutorials along with their award winning customer service is outstanding. Something else that you should be aware of is that when I go to present my solutions with Shopify, I always get the same question "Which email marketing platform do you recommend for Shopify?" I have an excel spreadsheet that lays out 10 email marketing solutions side by side, and the one that is highlighted is Omnisend, because I know how amazing the company is and that they will carry through for each of my clients. Hands down!

There is nothing I can honestly say I dislike. Maybe sometimes support is faster than you want it to be, but that's great in all honesty!

I worked with another app that I constantly had to "monkey around" with when setting up clients on various platforms. The ease of implementation working with Shopify has allowed my clients to save money by using this app for all of their email marketing and campaign based solutions. They have really allowed my clients to see cost savings plus increased conversions. That's the benefit. Omnisend makes money by my clients, and my clients make money using their ultimate solution!

The feedback block is for the superuser, as a small company we also value the feedback of our clients, but cannot afford the expensive package at this time. Offering the feedback block to small enterprise can make them grow .. win-win for everyone

Omnisend has beautiful templates and great automations. Easily syncs with your contact list. My sales have nearly doubled since integrating Omnisend into my marketing plan.

Editing the templates can be a bit tedious and time consuming but the quality of the output makes it worth it.

Omnisend allows me to time my campaigns and send only the most relevant information in a concise package that visually appealing. My clickthrough rate has been over 30% which in my experience, is very high.

I am super happy with Omnisend. The support is very quick and helpful and they really seem to do their best to help you get the most from their products. The automations are easy to set up and build. Even though there may be cheaper options, I do not foresee myself switching anytime soon.

I am disappointed that there is no direct integration with OptinMonster, but I have to use Zapier. They could have made a better interface for saving email templates and transferring them between stores.

Omnisend was an easy switch from the 'chimp after issues with Shopify. Integrates beautifully with no extra work from me, there are tons of videos and walk throughs which are easy to learn from and pretty straight to the point. I am able to whip up a good looking email newsletter quickly and the process is very intuitive. I love the shop item integration, allowing me to feature items from my shop by shopping my site direct from the newsletter design area.

Cost is a bit higher than I was previously working with however, it's close and seems reasonable for the options offered.

The ability to send a high quality email quickly and see the results is standard but as every second counts, Omnisend makes it just a bit easier. Little advantages are big.

By far the most effective email marketing platform and light years ahead of our old one, Mailchimp. I am so impressed by its ease of use, beautiful templates and the greater increase in customer responses and purchases. They also have a wonderfully responsive support team. I am thrilled to have such an impressive and stellar email marketing platform. Look no further because, with Omnisend, you have arrived.

Marketing and advertising

very easy to use features, easy to edit and build campaigns to suit my brand. I have no coding experience so i find omnisend very easy to navigate. It was easy to switch from mailchimps as well, which was something i worried about when switching over. but i feel as though i definitely made the right decision switching as omnisend offers a lot more interactive features for me and my customers. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quick it was to get it all set up. the billing is fairly straightforward as well and i was lucky enough to get a discount offer when switching over from mailchimp. overall i would definitely recommend omnisend to other small businesses looking to set up a newsletter.

the prices seem a bit high considering that i don't send many emails. i wish there was an option for people with 4000+ signups that post infrequently. i don't have the time or inclination to send out more campaigns so i don't feel as though i really get my money's worth for the price.

boosting email campaigns has been very useful, i also like the spin to win feature and scratch card feature. good analytics and campaign info, easy to check on sales from campaigns and good shopify integration.

I love how user-friendly Omnisend is. It has everything I need without being overly complicated. I love how smoothly it integrates with Shopify.

So far I havnt found any negative points to the app, it's easy to navigate and set up.

Within the first week inwas able to send several abandoned cart e-mails as well as feedback emails. One of the feedback emails I received was from a customer who was also a shopify expert (Great luck) and identified a small issue with my site and offered advice on a solution

Automation email drip campaigns are crucial and extremely powerful - utilize them!
