I've always been a huge fan of Xero for it being idiot proof! We use it every day and it intergrates with our bank account Starling and our expense system Pleo. We have never needed to contact customer support for problems because it's so easy to use!

I think sometimes it's hard to get the chart of accounts in the correct set up.

How else am I suppose to do our company accounts!? It is cloud based and just perfect!

Xero for me is the easiest and the most user-friendly accounting software out there. It allows you to create bills, and invoices, and integrate your bank with Xero so you can directly reconcile every transaction in Xero, it can be integrated with other receipt bank software as well, this way you don't need to manually create those bills into Xero. I love how they made it so user can have the option to study and learn everything about Xero through their Learning feature. I have been using Xero every day for the past 2 years and it never let me down. Even though there are times that the system is down, you can easily check and search Xero's status online to see what's happening and what steps they are taking to fix the problem. It also allows you to create tickets when there are issues arising and you need proper support. The community also serves as customer support as most frequently asked questions have been answered. The implementation of product updates has been made easy as they make sure that customers are well-informed ahead of time and provide guides so they can manage everything as well.

I do love the reports and how easily they can be understood, but I felt like it has wide room for improvement. Just like how I sometimes need a wider range of reports but what you can generate is only limited to what they have in Xero. It would be amazing if I could go to reports, for example, payroll reports, and then have the dropdown menu with all the pieces of information that were inputted or created in Xero. Furthermore, I felt like payroll can be improved as well, and having all the awards installed would really help business owners as well, as sometimes it is very difficult to keep up with all the changes going on within the ATO and state governments. But all in all, Xero is still the go-to when it comes to accounting software.

Xero is solving all the manual things going on within the accounting books. It also helps to ease day-to-day transactions like creating bills and invoices, especially bank reconciliation. The reports help you check and manage expenses and sales every day.

The Xero team, from customer service to specialists were amazing, supportive and responsive at a time when I suffered a significant hacking attack across my whole network. They were professional, diligent and one of the few companies that responded to the seriousness of the hack immediately.

As I was hacked I was advised not to answer any phone calls from numbers I didn't have an ID for, so when Xero team were trying to call me, to help me, I didn't know it was them. We found a work around, but when under huge stress this was a bit of a challenge

Enabled me to get my account back up and operational and SAFE for my team and accountant.

Easy to use especially bank reconciliation and reporting. Great to be able to access it from mobile devices.

I have not had any dislikes as such. If anything it is easy to loose your TAB while transfering between screens.

Xero is so easy to use it gives time back.

Using G-Accon along with Xero has been a game changer for us. It helps us to easily track our outstanding invoices and manage it so much easier. The automation process works so well and saves so much time for us daily. We are thankful Xero has the integration capabilities to work with the G-Accon templates and automation.

Wish there was a way to see total currency paid when looking at invoices paid section to show total amount paid amongst several invoices at once without having to download a full report. Wish there was a way when you have accidentally approved invoices that are needing correction that you could select a large group of invoices and void them all at once in awaiting pymt section.

Provides ease of using template to create large groups of invoices & to email them out all together as a batch. Ease of tracking past due invoices and sending automatic reminders, etc.

It is a very userfriendly software to maintain accounts and understand the business's finances. I use this software day in and out!

There are quite a places where we do not have audit history or trial of past changes and also few technical areas like super refunds which needs to be automated.

Xero is comparatively better than the other Australian accounting softwares, infact we have also recommended this to a few and made them move to Xero from their previously used softwares.

User friendly and simple to use. Intergrates great with our HR software.

I'm still working my way around the site but I havent come accross any negatives yet.

All payroll is done on Xero. It makes my life so much easier.

It is extremely easy and fast to use, it integrates with my bank so it's very easy, very hard to make mistakes and it'a saved me so much time with my bookkeeping

There are some more complicated features that are harder to understand

Xero has made small business accounting easy and accessible to me, even without a business background. It helps me reconcile transactions easily so I never miss one. Xero is also a one stop shop for all my sales needs, such as invoices and quotes. I like that it's all in one place, with great tutorials to help me too.

It would be great if you could keep track of various types of expenses in Xero to make it easy for the end of financial year tax return. Maybe this feature is there and I haven't come across it yet.

Xero has made accounting incredibly accessible to me, even though I lack accounting and business knowledge. As a former teacher with a small business, I need a lot of assistance in this area. Xero has been easy to pick up and run with so that I can manage my finances with confidence and make sure every transaction is reconciled easily.
