It saves our organization so much time every day.

That we had not started using Xero until the last few years, I used to use MYOB everyday and now it is Xero everyday on a computer or mobile phone.

We are saving time everyday which allows staff to do so much more

Really friendly customer service, flexible product and great pricing.

The only negative I have found was the optional add-ons in each pricing plan.

I've used Xero for the past 5 years and the piece that keeps me as a customer is their exceptional API and other 3rd party integration tools. If I can't do it in Xero, there is a straightforward tool that helps me accomplish the task at hand.

I do wish there was more customization when it came to the controls in place especially around cash, AP, & AR. They are great controls but they can be limiting for the experienced accountant.

Since their API is so strong, multi-entity consolidation is not only easy but there are a plethora of providers that accomplish it with Xero for a low cost and low barrier to entry.

Xero's functionality is straightforward to use and presents the financial statements in an easy-to-read way.

Xero's utility is minimal when creating financial statements and adjusting journal entries.

Currently, a few of my clients are utilizing Xero, and that's primarily where I compile financial statements for them.

I like most the way it represents the whole data. You can easily find all the scenarios, the income, expenses, and most importantly, it shows the whole scenario of your business that help you to make a quick decision. i strongly recommend this software and make your task most automated

Xero allows you to easily enter invoices to be paid and to track when they are paid.

I honestly don't have any dislikes with Xero. Mistakes can easily be rectified.

Because we use Xero we don't have problems! We easily keep track of invoicing, who has paid and who is late paying, so that we may follow them up.

Our entire accounting is in one place with an amazing extent of reports to choose from and connects with the HMRC for VAT reports

Xero has done a lot of things I didn't even imagine possible, one of the powerful intergrations Xero offered helped us managed out client's company money - bills and expenses coming in and going out.

Things can be challenging, especially on the technicalities of the application itself and the way the UI is organized but as you familiarize its work around and using its purpose, it can do amazing things for you and your company.

A few things I deal with is how e-commerce mainly done espescially recurring invoices, you’ll have a billing partner handling the details and since you want to see all those invoices in Xero, a direct connection is ideal.

It makes the work of an accountant very easy. Manages all your work in one place without any professional user's help. Its supporting team is so helpful, they are available everytime whenever anybody needs help in using it or in setuping it. All the details of the transaction you do are available here, and the data is secured end to end. It makes the life an business runner very easy.

The online thing I dislike about Xero is that some of the features are of additional cost, and we cannot use them in the purchasing price of the software.

All the details of my online payments are available and saved in it. I make regular online payments through various online payment applications, so all the data is saved in Xero, which helps me create tax reposts. Generating invoices and sending them to my clients and customers. It helps me keep track and generate income and expenses reports.

- Some features missing in the payroll like salary sacrifices do not get coded to superannuation automatically. - Cash flow statements are a bit tricky to use. - Apart from this all the features and functions are great.

- Management reporting - Generating Financial Statements - Lodging BAS's - Payroll management - leaves, payroll, and superannuation - Trade debtors and trade creditors management.

Easy to use, integrates with credit cards, and I can give my CPA accountants access to book the quarterly journal entries.

I'm not an accountant, so it takes me longer to find things, but the help is very helpful.

Not really solving problems, it's a necessary task to execute all of the accounting for financial reporting.

Xero is easy to use with an intuitive user experience. It is designed for use by non-experts while at the same time having features for expert accountants.

Nothing to dislike. However, this is a small business level product and so does have limitations in certain areas. Granularity in security permissions is one such area.

Xero takes accounting and really makes it as simple and user-friendly as possible. Good UI/UX, good resources for support, and lots of automation/integraiton options. Very happy Xero customer.

Xero does occasionally get a bit buggy and has technical issues - but this is the same for all platforms. I don't fault them for this, even though it can be frustrating at times.

At the moment there is not much but I would like to if Xero had a feature to add new pay items for payroll directly within payroll or if HMRC tax codes changes are always done I have realised it his a hit and miss at times

I am more productive with my work and can work from anywhere in the world. I love the MTD feature and the fact that you can directly submit VAT returns through Xero rather then going on to HMRC website.

Really easy interface that requires no training or accounting experience. Easy to create invoices, email them out and it has a clear dashboard that shows you everything you need at a glance.

There isn't much we don't like, but one of the few things that have been an annoyance is not being able to edit the format of the Customer Statement when using a standard branding theme. We enter a Customer PO number as well as our job reference in the Reference column and all that detail shows up fine on the invoice itself but when you produce a PDF statement for a client, it truncates the width of that column and therefore doesn't display all this detail which isn't helpful when a customer is reviewing their statement, we have to export the data and produce this ourselves in XLS.

I have been able to handle all of my business invoicing and balance my checking accounts and credit cards seamlessly. The ease of use in comparison to other accounting software is amazing.

Intuitive for people with basic accounting knowledge. Easy to view key reports, which is vital for management. The ability to drill down into more detail is very helpful. Automatically linking accounts and credit cards saves a lot of time. Very powerful and comprehensive accounting tool.

Creating reports can be tricky. The product is designed for people experienced with accounting and some parts may be confusing.

Detailed accounting data is critical for understanding business performance. Management can access key reports and data easily, while bookeeper can use the full features to structure and order accounting data.

Xero is exceptionally simple to utilize and adaptable. As a salesman it's overall quite simple to record costs. Can get to it anyplace and Xero joins with most bank making bank compromise quick and simple.

Xero provides clear information regarding transactions into and out of the account I manage. It allows me to place expenses exactly where they need to be in our organizational budget with ease.

I dislike that it can sometimes take a while for transactions to show up on the dashboard for reconciliation. I also wish they offered an "introduction to xero" tab for new users.

Xero allows myself and my organization to quickly identify where expenses and income belong within our budget. Xero also has the benefit of being able to include receipts when reconciling transactions.

The bank feeds make bank reconciliations super easy. You can automate and repeat invoices, bills, journals. Also, it offers a lot of different integrations.

The bank feeds don't seem to work very well with some of the banks my clients use, so I have to export and import the bank transactions manually. It's still an easy process if the bank provides an OFX file type; it just takes longer. If the bank does not provide an OFX file type export, it takes even longer.

Xero is the best solution we have found for keeping accounting records.

Best part of using xero is we can easily reconcile bank by find & match options if we use another softwares like dext to keep our AP and AR reconciliation.

Xero lacks to keep Inventory for livestock.

Xero is cheaper than most other online accounting solutions. The UI is clean and easy to use. Easy to integrate with GoCardless and other billing providers.

Reconciling accounts doesn't have the smartest auto-fill, and you often have to re-enter a lot of data when reconciling a lot of items at once.
