In GIST, Email automation and event tracking are the best. In our SaaS Platform https://callerdesk.io , we are using all of its features whether its knowledge base for product information or its Live chat feature.
Basically all product and features are good but we have seen that, they are providing web forms which are quite basic and simple. Hope in future, they will upgrade it .

Gist offers a lot of great features. I particularly like the fact that emails and website chat are integrated. This, along with data the platform gathers, segmentation and triggers enables advanced and personalised messaging to really keep users engaged.
The native pop-ups need a little more development. They offer great targeting options but lack the ability to add an image to the lightbox popup.
Lead magnet delivery and drip feed email campaigns. User tracking and intel, website chat (when users are logged in).
I like that this is really easy to use : a simple js script to include in my application and I can have a tool to help my users.
The downside is that this is a saas application : very useful for my usage, but it means I cannot use the solution for some clients with strict cloud policies in europe
I can see the activity of my application and I track the pages they visited : this is helpful when I try to know how an user landed on a specific page
I like I got almost all the must have tools in one pack for communication. Advanced email automation that is just got a new function of graphical campaign builder. Also, my subscription is include a live chat and a chat bot and both works well with my sites. No slowing down or other script issues that are not common in this kind of services. If I had an issue the team was super responsive and helpful, that is essential for every business. The email delivery is great, so virtually no email has landed into spam folder. Finally, the knowledge base is an excellent alternative for other Saas solutions. We just started to use this feature and our team is very satisfied with the results. Interface: I like the UI that is modern, simple but highly usable. The developer is keeping taking care of it and the user experience is constantly evolving.
Rarely a few glitches can slow me down, but usually it's not a typical issue. Also, a few months back we experienced some email delivery problems, but the Gist team finally fixed it. It's hard to say a bad word about it. I'd like to see it have multiple knowledge bases.
It's all about marketing communication. It solves the email marketing and chat needs. Also, the knowledge base is very handy for our company as we wanted to share tips and tricks and short tutorials.
I like using Gist chat on my website, it helped me communicate with potential prospects that would otherwise have just bounced to the next site. The backend is cool with location information and captured lead details.
The URL to get to gist portal is a bit hard for me remember.
I was getting alot of website visitors but very low conversions, I sell high ticket items and users seem to only convert once there is an element of trust. Gist helps with visits who do not want to email or phone but are more willing to shoot an instant message.
Analyzing and segmenting contacts has become a breeze. With their amazing segmenting feature, it becomes extremely easy to look at what your contacts are engaging with and automatically have a "bird's eye view" of your contacts.
The workflow builder/journey builder is not good enough for us to switch over to a higher-level of gist. We're currently using a lower plan that doesn't include the journey builder. So we combine our Gist account and use it alongside an AutoPilot account (because that one has a better journey builder). And also because of a few quirks (custom fields on gist have weird limitations that autopilot doesn't).

I use several livechat and helps, what i like about Gist is they offert a nice solution for work with B2B and B2C What i like about gist is: - livechat - the email - the tracking url (you can view what pages the visitor view) - The marketing automation is good - Really Good integrations The best for my is the chat prompt because you can livechat, help and for capturing lead.
The founder (Jitta) is cool, but the support is really slow. They also face some delivery problem with the email they work and my account still get block it....so is really annoying Also... at fist, the plataform was really slow but they improved alot.
Insted of using a "pop up" we use gist on landing page like livechat, help and for capturing lead. Very usefull. Is really usefull, for selling, contact or support.
Easy to use, email marketing suite. I have LTD and since i have started using it in 2018, there has been lots of changes as promised by Gist Team.
Email templates are lacking. Though it's in the roadmap, currently we have to configure the template in HTML/CSS. I am sure the team is working on Email templates for Pro Users.
I use it for email marketing and alternate to Mail Chimp.
...and from being a very basic software it has come on in leaps and bounds, so much that I now use it as my main software for all things marketing
Sometimes integrations can be a bit slow as others systems don't recognise Gist, but this is changing
