- High-level automation options for various sales tasks
- Tons of integrations with third-party tools like Outlook and LinkedIn
- Mobile version with access to visual reports
- Data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance built-in

- Integrations can be a little clunky
Compare Zoho CRM with other popular tools in the same category.
Zoho has all the modules to address the various needs a small to medium size business needs. The CRM module integrates nicely with Projects, Campaigns, Help Desk and the others. Easy to learn and use and very powerful.
It's a little difficult to determine which features are available with what package levels...CRM Plus isn't very clear.
Tracking customer data, customer profile history, support details and all related communications and workflow.
The fact that every screen is customization 100% and that the integration to Books and Inventory is so seamless
The fact that the products from Inventory are not in the CRM automatic, this would allow so much more flexibility from the Reps.
Workflow has been huge, reminder system and the BCC is great!
The ease of use Zoho CRM has evolved to a complete business suite The customer service always on top to help you It is open to other software Social media oriented You can program Zoho CRM yourself. No need a specialist
No clear roadmap. You discover features when they are launched
It helps us to find new customers We run the relationship with our customers We run our orders' workflow We run our technical cases and have a 360 view of our customers
Rich feature-set CRM that is intuitive and very salesforce.com-like without the big price tag. Allows you to manage you entire sales process from lead through close to account management. Integrates well with Google Apps and Microsoft Office 365. Robust reporting capabilities and data views to group and filter records on the fly. Love that no programming knowledge needed!
We have our email integrated inside of Zoho CRM. There are times when you go to send an email and it cannot connect to the mail server. It usually resolves itself within a few minutes but very annoying when it happens.
We use Zoho CRM to map out and manage our entire sales process. It quantifies our current sales pipeline and allows us to see the stages in the deal-flow where there are bottlenecks.
Free, is an easy to use tool, pretty understandable interface for most people.
Nothing is customizable in the free version, so you quickly need to upgrade to enterprise.
Solving the problem of not knowing what status our leads are in or where they've gone. Keeping track of companies we have talked with in the valley and notes.
In the past few years, our company had built a system through SalesForce for dealing with support tickets, projects, calendars, etc. We used another software for accounting, none of which linked together at all. Not to mention we paid out the nose for our subscriptions. With Zoho CRM I love how projects, deals, contacts, invoices, quotes, etc are all brought together seamlessly for nowhere near the exorbitant cost we were paying before. In one package (Zoho CRM) I can access deals and projects, create invoices or quotes directly under the project, manage our account and contacts, and view/manage the calendars for all of us.
Some of the terminology has taken some getting used to. There are some items we've changed the wording on to match our typical usage, others (deals) we've molded in as new vocabulary for our workload.
The ability to co-locate invoices and quotes within the same program as our projects. Managing calendars that also sync directly with Google Calendars and all of our mobile devices. Keep up with activities and billable hours as they relate to specific projects.
I love how easy it is to use this tool when you are starting out, even the free version has lots of options, with reminders, and inboxing, and notes, it really has all you need to remember when to follow up with folks and a place that you can store all their info so you don't have to remember everything for the follow up calls.
Although the email support is sufficient for most things, I wish there was an option for phone support as well to cut down on the back to back emails that sometimes happens when trying to resolve certain things.
Enter all leads and contacts that come into the business pipeline so that we can monitor sales cycles and also keep in touch with our strategic partners.
I like zoho because it easy to use, and affordable. The CRM is also user friendly.
I do not like that zoho does not incorporate a comparative insurance rating software.
The business problems I am solving is drip marketing, sales communication, and customer/ prospect follow-ups.
Simplicity. Ease of use, and very customizable. Zoho CRM works for all of our team despite, age, level, or want to use a CRM system. The reporting matches our business needs as well.
The on dislike I have is the connection between Zoho Campaigns and the Zoho CRM is very clunky. The connection of campaigns to leads or contact or a certain account is not great, and the drag and drop templates are not comparable to MailChimp.
We easily solve top of funnel needs, and time to close a deal. It has helped create a team selling experience.
I like that it is extremely customizable to your specific needs. The infrastructure is built in a way that allows any business owner to hop right in or change things for their specific needs.
I dislike the price of it for when you have a larger team. I can understand some type of large pricing for one user but when you get into teams of 5-6 people or more, there should be some sort of bulk pricing so that it's not super expensive to place a whole team on the system.
I am solving transparency in my business. Since there are a few people on my team, I need to know what is going on at all times with everyone's accounts. Zoho allows me to see that.
Love everything about Zoho: user friendly, easy to upload data from Excel (avoid manual data entry), easy to design layout and add fields to a lead / contact / account etc,, easy to search, easy to filter our required contacts, easy to do targeted email lists and send out targeted communication to potential customers. Helps to track your progress with this or that potential customer, helps to plan your activities, helps make sales plans with timings for the deals closing. And it is very convinient to get notifications on what other users have done in Zoho since my last logon.
Hard to say. Please take into account we are a small subsidiary of an american SAAS and consulting company in Russia, there're only 2 of us. For such a small business this is just a perfect tool. Don't know if a larger company would find Zoho CRM feeting their needs. The only question I could put here is why do I get a notification when primary owner of access to Zoho is with my Boss, and he's supposed to get notifications that his credit card is expring and he needs to update his payment details.
We use Zoho CRM for tracking our potential customers contacts, leads, send out promo papers and invites to webinars, and then follow the customer right to the deal closure / contract signing. Extremely time saving. Allows actually to do the job, keep the focus, have a clear understanding on what needs to be done, not spend much time on manual tracking, reporting, etc.
The best part of this product is that it can be used for free up to 10 users and extremely customizable. So you can just boost your business with the free tool. If you are a startup then definitely this tool is for you. Apart from this, it's simple and intuitive, anyone can use it without and training. So no special training is required to use this tool.
Paid plans are bit expensive. But the fact is also that, I couldn't find a flow in this product. There is everything good, I can say.
Generating more leads to grow business exponentially.
ZoHo recently revamped the UI for their CRM product which makes it visually easier to work with and the page layout more intuitive. I love the fact that you get all of the functionality of a CRM like Salesforce but for a fraction of the price and that the sister applications take minimal configuration to work together.
Sometimes it can be a little buggy, but that is more related to the multiple ZoHo applications that we have integrated and third party applications that are using the API
Through the use of ZoHo CRM, we are able to execute batches of work with a few clients and are able to mass update records on the fly, making the sales team more productive.
Coming from the Force of Sales, this was a welcome change. I really like the way that you can use almost all the same features as the other guys, at a much more reasonable cost. This tool lets me scale my small business in an easier way.
It can be hard to find the area to enter a contact email and add to a list where I am able to see all of my leads in one area. Once you get how to use the view feature it is easier to use than other tools.
I'm now able to have one screen view of all of my people in my sales process
Zoho is simple enough for most small businesses to use. But, it has enough features to make it a valuable part of a sales team.
I don't like the new graphics, but that's not a big deal. The other thing is that the reporting doesn't combine leads and contacts.
I can keep track of my sales calls and use it for creating a database of contacts. I don't forget to follow up with Zoho.
Free version to start is awesome for me.
Unable to mail nerge on the free version.
Managing relationsgips
We were able to use the trial version for 3 months. During that time we were able to evaluate the product and implement it into our program. We purchased the product and still use it daily.
File sharing was inconsistent depending on the media used. For example, sharing a pdf file was simple while sharing a jpeg was a bit more difficult.
Many users could input data that was visible almost immediately to others. Worked better than our cloud based system did!!
I love that I can handle customers' contact information between colleagues at my business.
I wish the dashboard was a little more visually stimulating. With more colors or interesting buttons/layouts.
In order for my colleagues and I to work from home, we need information at our fingertips. The CRM has allowed us to store shared contact information in an easily accessible format.
I was really impressed with the dashboard that has been created, along with the filters, you get to know where your business stands as on dates. Also the task manager helps me to meet my clients on time without anyone else reminding me.
I dont have anything in particular to point out
I have been benefited with couple of things. 1. Not to worry about my clients base 2. Always reach them on their said date and time using task events. 3. Notes helps me a lot to recollect my earlier conversation with my clients.
For free, you can use the basic service of beginning to collect your data. This was great for me to start and get a feel for the CRM system. I have used Salesforce (as admin) and SugarCRM in the past and while Salesforce is great too, the price is way too steep for a one-person (or small-group) start-up for it to make financial sense. Zoho CRM dwarfs the pitiful SugarCRM as I am no fan of the SugarCRM program. So for me, my needs, and my business, we choose Zoho CRM. I have since signed on for an individual paid account for just over $10 a month. This now allows me the opportunity to customize my reports, searches, and dashboard the way my business needs. Pennies on the dollar compared to Salesforce. Lastly, I give the Zoho CRM credit too for its integration into my other programs such as our Wordpress powered website in which leads from the website are automatically generated into my dashboard. Can't remember if it is a third-party app or if Zoho somehow powers that function but it is a life-saver!
My only complaint about the ZohoCRM stems actually from the whole package. The CRM is only but a part of the larger, overall Zoho package. Add these functions together (along with each separate cost), a company begins to see price comparisons next to Salesforce, which for the most part is bundled altogether. This compartmentalization is SOMETIMES a bit tedious as you begin to expand into other needed products also conveniently provided by Zoho, for an upcharge of course.
The CRM does what is supposed to do. It warehouses my data information that is collected while also creating visually effective reports and analytics that can be sifted through for greater clarity of our clientbase.
I like the CRM the best, but I also like Zoho's social, email, and SalesIQ. The "mention" tags are great and the internal IM is pretty awesome.
With SalesIQ, I'd like to see the leads display in chronological order on the dashboard.
We're looking for a one-stop-shop and we found it with Zoho. It has everything we need (CRM and email), but their other apps are a huge bonus. We're currently on the free version and it's amazing what they offer for free.
Simplicity and effectiveness. , Very Robust too
The Graphics and the UI should be more attractive and made user friendly
Tracking the business communications with prospective customer. Now since i am using the ZOHO CRM, the issue had been taken care of
The overall vision of the company is encouraging,Simple Excellent User Interface,Chat Support,Costome Modules,Integrations,Sales Inbox... Wow so many functionality i use of Zoho CRM. Its like a daily i sit and plan my business with ZOHO CRM
To be honest ,It has so many things available even i havent explore all of it due to my time..but whatever time i spent on Zoho CRM i feel a lot i can explore from Zoho. Dislike-From Bottom of my heart No Dislike... Desier are yes 1) Feature which Zoho has done for IOS 7 contacts to mobile contacts i wish that can be done for Android as i am more comfortable in Android. i know they will do it some day or other
I manage my tyre trading business with Zoho CRM and manage my customer exceeding 22000 with ease
Zoho integrates the entire sales process from prospect to the final process of purchase. In addition the customer service to users is very effective. You can reach then by phone, email and chat.
The automatisation process can be confusing.
Control of the hold sales department, in the past we could not track all Our Customers, and what each vendor was selling. With Zoho not only we have a solid database but can also measure the performance of sales agent.
Zoho CRM is one of the finest software, fast as well as complete in all forms and features. I have been using it from last 2 months for Marketing, customer support, reporting as well as social collaborations. This CRM handles allmy work and reduces my effort and time in small and vague tasks of everyday business.
There is really nothing to dislike. Now I have to write at 40 characters. This is what is good about them. They always want to improve. You guys will definitely love it. I will recommend you to go for trial version and then purchase professional or enterprise according to your need as features like inventory management are included in professional and enterprise versions only. The cost is reallly cheap and that too with a monthly and yearly plan, so you can choose according to your wish.
I have been using it from management of pipelines,Contacts and Account Management Some of the frequently used features are: Task / Activity Management Product & Price List Management Quote & Order Management Customer Contract Management Marketing Automation Email Marketing Lead Management Marketing ROI Analytics Customer Support Call Center Features Reporting and Analytics Dashboards Forecasting Mobile User Support Social Collaboration Features Social Network Integration
It is simple to use and integrates contacts, emails, notes and calendar very easily. It is very easy to learn. The problem that i always had with outlook is the ability to take notes when clients call, etc. It's easy with zoho. ZOHO is more stable than outlook and ACT. The Campaign part of the program is also very easy and effective. i didn't buy the program for that feature. i had never sent newsletters to my clients. It took me a few hours to learn and a couple of calls to technical support and I am sending out a monthly newsletter to my clients. The technical support is excellent. I have never had to wait more than a minimum amount of time and any questions i have are answered quickly by the knowledgable techs.
A few basic features i would like. i would like to be able to put colors on my calendar items. I have a hard time prioritizing items on my calendar. I would like to be able to color them so that the more important items i can more easily see. Also in relation to the calendar. When i am done with an item on the calendar - i would like to show it as being done without deleting it. I would like to get it off of the calendar view but still have it associatiated with a client and the full entry on the calendar.
The program is making me more productive. I can do more things in ZOHO that i previously would have to do in 2 or 3 programs. It is easy for me to import my clients from my accounting program.
The ability to edit things as you go along
Takes a VERY long time to set up to how you need it for your business
Lead tracking, conversion from lead to client and where leads/clients are located and how they heard about us.
ZOHO CRM is part of an integrated suite that are simple and easy to use either together or alone. The CRM is at least as good as Salesforce for a fraction of the price.
I have no serious reservations about the system; it is very well developed and finished.
The CRM integrates well with the ZOHO Campaigns tool which I use for email campaigns to prospects meaning new business generation is straightforward
Zoho CRM allows me complete customization to meet the specific needs of my company. It is a platform for which I can innovate and expand with few limitations. It is affordable for the small business owner, yet still enables me to compete on the same level as my larger competitors.
Some of the other Zoho products have limitations that, when integrating into Zoho CRM, don't allow me to go far enough. I use workflows and automation often to complete tasks that hinder my productivity. I'm not sure this is a Zoho CRM "dislike," but one within the "out-of-the-box" Zoho environment.
Fragmented data is always a problem with any business. One of the benefits I have realized is with some of the additional Zoho products, I can get a complete and holistic view of what's going on with my business, better engage with my prospects and clients, respond faster and more accurately address their inquiry, and make better business decisions to realize increased revenue and profits.
Zoho CRM is a very customizable, user-friendly tool and it puts all your sales activities in a perfect place. Very easy to track lead and client activities, where they are in their customer lifecycle and what we could do to enhance their experience. And all this at a very reasonable pricing. Their customer support is excellent!
Although I like the new UI a lot, I am not able to get used to it very easily. The email templates could be better.
Customer management, lead nurturing and organizing and analyzing customer data. And it has proved to be A+ in all of these segments.
