I love how easy it is, I am new to sales and I am unsure how I would do my job without it.
I think that the sometimes it can be a little hard to search for people on the website. I use the extension
Finding prospects!
ZoomInfo makes finding company members' email addresses easy and efficient, and has SO much contact information that it seems endless. But, the more the better, and ZoomInfo is crucial to the success of my business and I know could benefit nearly all businesses the same. The setup and format of ZoomInfo is fantastic, allowing you to search by name, company, position, position type, and nearly always had up to date email addresses, or at least enough email addresses per company to suffice my needs.
It's definitely a financial commitment, and you can't have slow periods because slow periods will mean no progress and therefore a loss of money. Likewise, the login process often requires me to text a login code to my phone every time even though it's my own computer, and therefore it takes a few extra possible minutes that work could have been done (but of course not the end of the world).
ZoomInfo is solving the business/research problems of a lack of contact information on company websites. ZoomInfo allows the benefits of having this information accessible to conduct further research on these companies.
What I like best about ZoomInfo, is that it really simplifies the prospecting process. Whether you are looking for a way to narrow ZoomInfo's database by pre populated filters or looking for a way to contact a prospect (with a given name), you can find email, title, and contact info seamlessly.
I do find often that ZoomInfo has outdated information (such as a company or role switch) for sometimes individuals that have had changes +3 years ago. This does make it a bit more time consuming, as I am constantly checking LinkedIn to validate ZoomInfo information.
I'm solving how to generate prospects as with ZoomInfo. This allows me to contact individuals who may benefit from the services my company offers (sales intelligence data). I've been able to successfully connect with individuals who can potentially benefit from the services my company provides as well as gain customers from using ZoomInfo's data.
simplicity of menu company info menu browsing comfy
too many garbage accounts(easy to eliminate with basic research)
more accurate emails easier to organize leads/accounts
Easy to use & gives you access to both Enterprise & Commercial phone numbers. You also have access to multiple types of roles vs. just specific ones you've purchased.
Sometimes the phone numbers are outdated. You can send a ticket to let them know, but it isn't quickly resolved.
I was able to find direct lines for many of my prospects, which shortens the sales cycle significantly.
The accuracy and relevancy of the contact information.
Not too much at the moment. We are only using the tool to find email addresses and phones at the moment.
Finding missing email addresses and phone numbers.
Zoom is great at helping us find direct contact information to support our sales process.
Nothing so far, the switch from 1.0 to 2.0 was not bad.
Finding direct & accurate contact information.
Well sourced clean data within the healthcare sector is incredibly hard to find. The fact that my vertical has been cracked wide open with Zoominfo's specific tag searches is incredibly powerful. Along with an awesome super responsive CS team who has done their fair share of making me the superuser in our office in under 2 months.
Hard to find anything I dislike. I am patiently waiting for more filters when adding company traits but have already been informed it's on the roadmap for 2019
As mentioned above. Clean data in the healthcare sector is hard to find. Even harder is clean contact info with all the correct lines and emails for those prospects. Because of Zoom I can prospect harder and faster than ever before.
I like that I can do an extremely specified search. I like that I can search for buyer, purchasers and procurement. Then look under the manufacturing industry and get more specific if I want. I like to use industrial and auto under that segment. I prefer to use people and companies in the US. I also like that I can change the management level to either add prospects or eliminate some.
I wish I could see how many people/companies I have clicked on. That way I can keep better track of my 2k look ups per month.
We were looking to get past the gate keeper and to get better information about the companies and people we are prospecting. One benefit I just discovered was all the information provided about a business. What type of products and services they offer, who their competitors are.
I love that zoom gives me all the info in one location
The only thing is that sometimes direct lines are not available.
Zoom helps me find business connections that I wouldn't think were possible.
In a sales role I need a resource that can provide me contact information for the companies I am calling on. I love that I can filter my search to exactly the person I'm looking for.
Not all information is up to date. I have found that all contacts listed may have left the company months or years prior.
Providing appropriate contacts and quickly exporting to SalesForce. ZoomInfo has the capability to export directly to SalesForce and sends all information on a company.
Accurate information and huge data base, i love it
glitches often but fixes quick. need to clear my cookie/catches a lot
Finding correct people to sell our product to
The accuracy of the data and ease of use. My business development team praises the accuracy of the contact details. I love having the technology landscape of the accounts I'm targeting. The search capability makes it easy to identify the proper titles or accounts. The integration with HupSpot is sweet.
I would be nice if there was a master suppression capability so we can avoid having duplicates.
Expanding our target universe and identifying competitive information. ZoomInfo is a critical part of my ABM program.
I have spent HOURS searching for contacts prior to using this, but now I have access to quality information and contacts to set meetings and grow my business.
Sometimes the addresses and headquarters are off.
Getting in contact with decision makers
ZoomInfo offers you the ability to get direct phone lines and work emails for prospects that you may not be able to otherwise.
Sometimes the phone lines that they say are direct are sometimes just HQ numbers.
The ability to get prospects on the phone to discuss your business offering. Before our Zoom Info trial we were only utilizing DiscoverOrg which was great for mid-market and larger enterprise level accounts but when it came to our commercial accounts Zoom Info was a much better resource.
I think what I liked best about having DiscoverOrg in my previous company was having access to people's contact information like their email addresses and phone numbers so we could email and call them for sales purposes to try to schedule a meeting for Account Executives to try to sell them on our product. I also liked that you could add leads or contacts straight to Salesforce, that you did not have to manually create new lead or contact records in Salesforce, that was nice.
I think what I disliked most about DiscoverOrg that it was really hard to navigate around it when I first started using it, it was kind of confusing. Like there are a lot of tabs and thinks you can click on.
The business problems that we were trying to solve with DiscoverOrg is for sales reps to have access to people's contact information like their work email addresses and personal or work phone numbers so sales reps could contact their leads.
In my past role, DiscoverOrg helped me connect the dots and break into a number of organizations that I didn't think to be possible.
Some access was restricted with my plan- however, this never proved to be a huge obstacle.
Account-based selling is made much easier.
Very useful for finding relevant information
Sometimes doesn't have smaller companies
Inability to find phone numbers for relevant prospects
I am able to quickly find what I need such as phone numbers.
The user interface is a bit undesirable. I feel it could be a bit more aesthetic.
I am finding contact information for people here where I cannot find it elsewhere such as LinkedIn.
Clean UI to easily navigate companies and employees with necessary company insights.
Limited number of contacts accessible, or out of date information at times. Conflicting data stating employees left company while they are still employed at company.
Better prospecting to generate selling activity. New mobile numbers help get in contact with otherwise inaccessible leads.
This application is able to forecast potential clients who are or will be in the market for a software in your industry. Helps build the pipeline and keeps you informed!
I woulda say I dislike anything per day, but there are some improvements that could be made to update some contact info regularly.
Cleaning our data and focusing on the best point of contact to speak with regarding our sales process. There are many benefits, but mostly the access to so much information is what’s so helpful.
ability to org map an account, find the right personas and leverage latest news for outreach.
some numbers are sometimes outdated but most of the time are working numbers.
discovering opportunities by leveraging technologies listed and business changes.
The ability to fins contacts info that's not readily available on the web. When cold-calling in to a company, it makes it so much easier when knowing who these people actually are, their role, and maybe even sometimes their direct number.
As impossible as it sounds, maybe if it were updated even more frequently. I have called into a couple of companies and they said that the contact did not work for them anymore, and it was quite surprising because Zoom is usually on top of that.
I'm trying to sell my company's products. It seems like the more we're evolving in a technological standpoint, the easier a job in this capacity can get. You seem like you're more informed than you actually are, making you look like a better potential partner of these companies.
The vendor/relationship data, employment backgorund and published comments by the prospect.
The query bars/fields; there should be a away to see a finshed query report before running it.
*inside Prospect intelligence, some relevant personal/professional affiliations. It gives a you a"snapshot" into the prospect values and interest.
What I like the best about ZoomInfo is how user friendly it is. ZoomInfo makes it extremely easy to run a quick search, whether you are trying to locate a specific company or contact. I usually search by company first, and am able to find a handful of contacts to choose from - if not, more! My goal when calling into a company is to locate Accounting and Finance professionals. If I cannot find a person with the job title I am looking for, I have found it is beneficial to call on a few different contacts and ask to be directed from there. People generally like to help people, and since most have their direct phone numbers listed I can call in and ask for their help in directing me to the right person. Another thing I like about ZoomInfo is that the direct email addresses are listed for each contact. I have found this to be extremely helpful because after calling and leaving a message for someone, I will follow up with an email. It is funny that today's world is scared of the phone, but people don't overlook many emails!
I do not necessarily dislike anything about ZoomInfo.
With ZoomInfo, I am able to solve many business problems - many benefits include: finding contacts within certain departments, having the direct contact phone number and email listed, as well as the address of the company listed. I work in sales for a staffing company, and my goal is to connect with Accounting and Finance professionals. ZoomInfo makes my job a lot easier!
I've used ZoomInfo for over 4 years now and have always found it to be a valuable if not necessary tool. ZoomInfo provides multiple ways to easily find information and key contacts within companies and industries. You can be successful without it but you will have to work much harder.
I wasn't overly thrilled with the layout of the latest version but once I dedicated to acclimate, I now find it to be very intuitive.
If you are not reaching the right folks with your message you are not going to be successful. ZoomInfo maximizes the odds that your message will get to the correct contact.
The information I am searching for is readily available and very up to date! ZoomInfo is user friendly and I've had the ability to get in touch with my prospects quickly! I really love that you can import contacts directly into Salesforce. Saves me a bunch of time!
I can't think of anything I dislike about ZoomInfo.
Business problems-too many gatekeepers to get through. Benefits-saves time and money when searching for leads.
If I'm looking for a contact - I always know I can rely on Zoom
sometimes the naming convention of the healthcare organization is not correct so it makes the search take a bit longer
healthcare sales search; saves time and is more reliable than definitivehc
I like how ZoomInfo is so easy to use and navigate. The depth of info provided on prospects is incredible. I really like the ability Zoom provides to perform highly specific searches and very general and broad searches depending on what criteria inputted.
There is very little that I can say that I dislike about this tool. The only real issues I run into are few and far between. For the most part, all information is up to date and accurate. However, there will be some accounts that have multiple inaccuracies within the contacts. It can be frustrating when almost every contact within an account has incorrect information.
Finding accurate contact information and being able to quickly upload that info into multiple platforms allows me to do my job more efficiently and effectively.
