The interface is easy to understand and makes the process of using it very simple. I feel like using Gist on a day-to-day basis makes things simpler for us in order to answer our client's questions and keep in touch with them. I think it makes communication smooth, I enjoy the email notifications and so many other features that alert us or our clients. I recently enjoyed their revamp on the snooze system, it makes everything much simpler to keep track of.
Sometimes the app can be slow or doesn't load altogether. This often happens where there is a big demand (such as Christmas sales or Black Friday). This should be addressed! I also have trouble sometimes snoozing chats or closing them and it can be very troublesome sometimes. The number of chats opened doesn't go down and there is a big difficulty in synchronizing this. Also, I dislike the fact that files and images are sent as separate files, especially when I need them attached to the message to get ideas clear to the clients.
Talking and offering advice to our clients is very easy. 😊 Communication is made easy through attaching files, images, adding gifs and much more. I also enjoy being able to see a lot of details regarding our customers' information (email, user code, browser, computer system etc.)
I have used many platforms and I found Gist to have the most reliable mobile app. Gone are the days when I had to find unhappy customers at the end of the day, due to notifications not being pushed timely to my phone. Setup is very easy for a non-techy person like me! I work more on the creative side of things but I was able to set up the app to be up & running within a few minutes. Plus, their support is amazing! Interface is nice and chat widget is customizable. It comes with a booking feature that integrates with our team calendar. Love the snippets feature & integrations with many other apps that we use is a bonus. Custom domain feature is the best!
I haven't used the "assistant" feature. This is the only part I did not really get so easily and I would probably need more time to set it up. I also requested a feature to be able to setup a contact form that will go straight to conversations/inbox. At the moment, we use a separate Contact Form on the website.
We run a healthy food & beverage startup and live chat is very important for us with customers who need immediate assistance. I could easily chat with them on the go without delays providing better customer service. Our customers are very happy! We also receive quite a lof emails and we use the team inbox which is very reliable. The ability to send email broadcasts has helped with our sales & affiliate systems... emails don't go to spam!
Like ancient Greek mythology god Zeus, Gist is for small business owners like us, i am associated with gist when it was called converfox, U am super happy with this awesome tool since than. I am hoping to get constantly surprised and amazed in future with the features they are coming up with one by one at speed of a bullet.

Most helpful is the fact that it has everything - chat, automation, ...you can even set up a knowledge base with gist. It's a whole 'nother level.
Because of all the options it can be overwhelming sometimes.
I use for support(chat), emailing, birthday wishes to customers...it's easy because you everything in one place.
Streamlined interface with a lot of features that work together. Super simple to tag and untag contacts and visitors, send follow up emails, and re-engaged past customers with minimal time and effort.
Not much to dislike, the platform has been constantly improving over the past few years and I've been very impressed with what the Gist team has pulled off - looking forward to seeing more as they continue to develop.
I've been able to follow up after people try trial versions of our software to offer incentives to purchase, follow up on abandoned carts, and segment users for email outreach based on their interests (all of which results in higher ROIs).
I love the service that I receive from Gist. They are very responsive when I need help and make updates that fit my needs. They helped me transition from my previous provider, helped me set up my sales funnels and more. They go above and beyond my expectations. I don't know what I would do without the great service and care that the Gist Team provides for me. I feel like a VIP.
They made lots of improvements over the years that I absolutely love. I have not complaints.
I have the ability to talk and meet the needs of my audience. Sending communications to customers is easy. Customizing my emails was easier than I thought. I was able to transition my account without skipping a beat.
All-in-one suite is fantastic. Idon't have to have different platforms (Email, Live chat,) to do what I need. The price is affordable as well.
There is nothing I dislike about Gist platform.
With Gist I don't have to have a pltform to collect emails and another platform to answer Live Chat and another for Social Media connections with my website visitors. Gist combines it all and does it affordably.
this software is all rounder software to control any type of online business. but i like getgist user interface and their super fast support.
this will be great if i can connect facebook page and can reply customer comments inside in getgist like ladesk. right now i can reply only facebook page messages.
I can support my customers easily on the go. using their mobile app. also their knowledgebase also helps me to reduce customer messages.
Gist has came a long way. Love the automations. One of the best all in 1 marketing I have ever used.
There is a staggered email send limit. However, I believe if you are not using the platform for spam purposes and legit reasons, it is understandable that they need to keep their mail server clean for deliverability.
I do not have to integrate many systems with Spiders and Gist has solved half of my marketing automation process.
I love having a single platform which includes tools for things that usually require multiple subscriptions and multiple logins that I then have to integrate with each other. The customer support is phenomenal! I ask questions late at night and on weekends and always get a response during non-business hours!
If you hate only paying once instead of for 5 different tools, Gist is probably not for you. ;)
I love having a chat bot, live chat, a knowledge base, and even an email marketing platform all in one place because it means I can easily sync data between them all and even better, I do it all in one place with just a single subscription!
