Few Excel formula are not working in smartsheet, as a result we are not migrate our existing excel sheet to smartsheet.

Smartsheets is versatile tool that I'm beginning to use more often. The team member assignment features are what sets it apart from other spreadsheet and scheduling software packages that we use.

Live chat support would be helpful. I know there is a lot of video support, but sometimes it's nice to talk to a support rep by chat. Review of a Smartsheet by outside users is difficult if a PDF is not created and shared with them. I wish a guest could easily log in and view a Smartsheet (when I'm on vacation for example).

I am able to assign tasks and organize the information for executive updates. Prior to using smartsheets, I would manually log personnel assignments in a spreadsheet...that was difficult to keep updated. Since Smartsheets notifies users of assignments, they are motivated to complete them and mark them completed in Smartsheets.

I love the layout and ability to integrate between Excel and Smartsheets seamlessly. Love the latest updates of having tabs.

Platform doesn't play as easily with Google Sheets

Smartsheet offers more advanced features and capabilities such as workflow automation, Gantt view, powerful integrations, etc. These features help me a lot while reviewing projects of my team, and collecting data. Besides this point, the combination of multiple functions helped me a lot while analyzing my team's data, and the most important function that I truly love is the 'COLLECT' function. Additionally, smartsheet support dashboard is a wonderful tool for me while presenting the final results for my member, or my manager.

In the contrary, I really hope smartsheet can: 1. Support for dynamic adjustment in the dashboard: the requirement of using the dashboard to present with managers or staff is increasing because over 90 percent of them aren't familiar with numbers, and they just want to see some graph for understanding or making decisions. However, the current dashboard of smartsheet is very limited to adjust, especially for dynamic adjustment, compared with googlesheet or others. 2. Another amazing feature that should be reviewed carefully is the limited of comments. we only have permission to comment for a row, but it would be nice if we had a way to comment for a specific cell.

With other platforms, I have trouble managing the personal tables of my team members. Smartsheet is the best option for this purpose. It also support many functions that I can use to modify to my concepts.

The interface, how is think to vmake the life of a PM easier and the fact you can create easily a whole project plan.

We get on well with smartsheet because it's online and always up to date, team members can access and update the sheet with actions or tasks for other team members.

i can't think of any downsides to using smartsheet.

it helps us keep track of tasks relating to our projects, making sure invoices are sent out when the project is at certain milestones, keeping track on extras etc so they don't get missed.

Unlimited user collaboration. Being able to add and limit user interaction on projects has helped us to easily manage our projects and limit unneccassary meetings. We have noticed a real saving in time and expenses.

Training needed for users to get used to the platform.

Sharing important information regarding projects in one central place. We can also keep track of who is using the platform and keep people accountable when we experience delays.

The scheduling power of smartsheet is a great tool. I personally use it for break out schedules for large construction schedules but a satisfying tool that has better logic then microsoft project.

I think the short keys and navigating are hard for a generation coming from Excel. Not a super negitive dislike just something I noticed when switching over.

Smartsheet makes working collabratively so much easier. I've found Smartsheet to be much more reliable than other platforms and extremely user friendly. The reminder feature is great for that extra piece of mind and allows forward planning, especially as you're able to set reminders to multiple users. Being able to export data easily for reporting purposes is also a huge bonus for those externally who do not use Smartsheet. One of the best features is being able to view cell history, it has made life a lot easier when accidentally overriding data. Smartsheet is able to do so the same and much more than other systems and is very easy to implement.

At times the live updates can lag a little bit but is an easy fix with a quick refresh. It would also be great if sheet owners could nominate other users to be able to edit column headers.

Smartsheet being online makes access so much easier and each user having their own log in makes it feel much more secure too. The reminder feature also means that external reminders are uneccessary, slimming down processes and use of other systems.

My favourtie features include the ability to tag team members on specific actions and being able to link relevant information outside of smartsheet. I like the pre-built dashboards and find that there's a vast array of them that cater to my needs. Smartsheet is really straight foward and easy to use.

It would be great to be able to capture and link data from outside smartsheet directly into smartsheet dashboards to collate even more data.

A uniform and consistent way to track meetings across diufferent teams and to bring all that information together in a meanginful way.

The ability to automate almost everything, with the easy built in workflows. There are also alot of templates with tutorials you can use when designing an implementation plan. The webinaars and customer support is always very professional.

There are a few limits on what you can automate. As well as it is very difficult to integrate 3rd party applications that is not built into Smartsheet.

The problem everyone is struggling with is time management. With the templates and automations I built in Smartsheets, I waste a lot less time on creating sheets as well as updating them.

Smartsheet has completely transformed the way that we track progress throughout our business. With shared dashboards available to all at the click of a button, anyone in the company can review and monitor current and upcoming business decisions. Ability to automate various elements of Smartsheet has also been of huge help and saved hours of time.

It can be difficult to get some less technologically-able staff members on board with using Smartsheet, as they have spent many years tracking things on various Microsoft Office products. Ease of access to training for these staff (primarily users) would be of great help.

Smartsheet has made task and workflow management seamless, and helped consolidate everything into the one place. In the past, different teams would hold different information held privately across various sites - SharePoint, Excel, etc. Now, everyone is on board in the same system and has easy access to any number of dashboards and project workflows that are easy to view, monitor, and update were required.

Smartsheet allows our industry to coordinate with field reps remotley. Allowing field reps to promptly and accuratley submit daily reports with data, photos and necessary planning for projects to stay on time and under budget. Smartsheet is easy to setup, links to forms are genius! Being able to send a link to our remote reps makes reporting seamless and easy to use. Smartsheet is utilized daily in our business.

Thus far we have been able to work directly with Smartsheet to resolve any questions/concerns and move forward with a resolution.

Smartsheet has benefitted us in multiple ways such as: Review of multiple projects at once, on one report. Reviewing inventory received and unaccounted for is now streamlined. Project status is accurate and available to all team members. Requests for equipment on multiple jobsites are sent in via forms and easily monitored in one report. Tasks are able to be sent out automatically based on date, job details.

Easy to use! Clear and visible, sharing progress with internal and external teams have never been easier.

Very easy to use, especially when working with alot of staff members, it is easy to communicate through the Smartsheet so you dont miss anything. The organisation you get from using Smartsheet is great. We could not recommend a better system for business'.

There is not much to dislike about smartsheet. Sometimes the rows can go out of order, but this is a quick fix with by filtering and refreshing the smartsheet again.

Smartsheet helps us pull reports up easily, letting us look at sales, figures and also time managment for cancellations and deadlines.

Challenging steep learning curve (for me!) Having to manually scroll through rows and columns.

It involves the whole team who are linked to it (I can prompt them with an email link from it if too). I also get a handy email when projects are finished (this needed setting up)

The ease of sharing information with others quickly, organization of smartsheets and folders. and the other applications such as sending surveys and the automatic update to the sheets to categorize the information gatherd in the surveys.

I have mostly used Excel, so finding the functionality at first was a little tricky, but the Help function allowed me to find out how to use the application quickly and once you get the hang of it is was easy to navigate.

Sending surveys to our Users has helped us to improve our internal training content and process. Sharing Project Management and Analysis SmartSheets has allowed us to work more efficiently as we can easily keep track of changes and progress.

I have so many postive things to say about Smartsheet. I use the platform every single day for reporting on previous days performance that include efficency, waste and overweight products. My favourite feature would have to be the dashboards and reports. I can display all of my data that is dumped into smarthsheet into organised graphs with the help of reports and some exciting formulas.

There isn't much to dislike on smartsheet. The only thing I could think of would be the addition of pictures freely to forms. Yes they can be used as a header but the image is quite small. The rest of the platform is amazing!

With one of the recent updates they added "Data Shuttle". Data shuttle is a feature that can automatically pull data from a cloud document and add it to a sheet. Currently a manual data dump is completed so we are looking at outputting out data from one of our systems to a cloud for automatic data collection into smartsheet.

Smartsheet makes day-to-day work simple, Compiling orders, returns etc in organised sheets, time stamps of who has updated certain orders to track stock easily and all round useful for everyone to stay in the loop about whats going on around the building.

I think all lines updated should be autosaved as soon as a someone updates a line, this is to ensure people don't work on the same line at the same time by accident and would avoid slight mistakes if the auto function was implemented.

Smartsheet keeps all our data compiled and oragnised in to sepreated sheets so we can keep track of where orders are going, keep track of PO's and deal with returns. We can use this to locate our stock and see if we have that stock ready for an order that has been pre packed, making sure our stock is as accurate as it can be.

I find using Smartsheet makes day to day business easy to manage due to all the features its has to offer such as cell histories to track the status over time

Multiple users can work on the same sheet. Automations. Cross sheet formulas. Dashboards

Small tweaks like searching with Ctrl+F does not highlight the row. If you use colours in the sheet, it is difficult to see the highligted cell. Sheet limitations (500k cells and limit on cross sheet formulas)

By creating a PM tracker, other users also have a view on progress and do not have to follow up on progress via emails. I pull in external data on a daily basis and combine it in Smartsheet to give helpfull views and reports. We do not have to log into multiple systems to get the same result.

Dealing with data became easy. I was glad to dial development team directly and communicate easily to them.

We have to deal only with developed features. I've found some places to be improved, we urgenlty need those, but how can we boost that?

Users can quickly build corporate solutions in form of tool-templates, reports and dashboard and thus enhance transparency and steering capability within their enterprise. Accoompanied by great costumer service, an extensive learning center and a vast majority of pre-built solutions , Smarthseet is an efficient and resource-saving solution for all kind of topics.

Some functionalities known from conventional spreadsheet tools are not availbale (e.g. grouping of rows). Missing filter capabilites in dashboards drastically narrow down the useability for business data analysis. An integration into a BI interface is often required.

It allows for a standardization of project management tools and processes. It creates transparency over project, program and portfolio performance. It automatically rolls-up data into the different reporting spheres. It will soon support our resource and capacity planning.
