I think the customization of this platform needs some extra knowledge and skills. This cannot be done with the basic knowledge of the tool.
There are many problems to be solved by implementing the zoho crm software like prospect details can be mapped directly along with the different level of conversations. Also, the daily activities of the sales people can be converted automatically to report dashboards.
Amazing tool to track the sales progress, new potentials, closing potentials, closed deals (won and lost). The reports provided are detailed and efficient for further analysis. You can also track sales people and customer interaction.
System glitches can occur once in a while, also their automatic billing system is not very user friendly.
I have been able to analyze and track the sales quotas and calculate commissions based on that. Reports provided are useful in in-depth analysis as per employees, projects, potentials etc. Various reports provide a much clearer view by time, employees, potentials etc.

It's not as intuitive or feature-rich as competitors, and the automated workflows could use some serious upgrades, as they are time-consuming. I would also like to see more gmail integrations, as we've considered moving some of our team to gmail and this is a big obstacle for us. We use Zoho for small event management, not overall customer relationship management, so I wish there was more integration with event management tools

I like that all my customer notes are in one place! I love the ability to set reminders for myself on tasks and calls to be completed regarding my customers. I also love the ease of navigation within the tool.
I dislike reporting, it feels clunky and more difficult to work with than it needs to be.

When it comes to managing and organizing while using Zoho CRM, it is quite worth it and one I would recommend the setup.

Need for personal domain email for low budget
I started using Zoho about 8-10 years ago because I needed a place to store client information and notes. I liked that it was web-based and easy to get to when I needed to reference previous conversations with clients and other critical information.
It's a little overwhelming. We have Zoho CRM and many other Zoho modules but we've never really fully implemented everything.

Everything is fairly basic and easy to navigate through with Zoho. It’s not overly complicated, and even first time users will be able to find their way around pretty quickly.
Zoho is simple and can certainly get the job done, but it doesn’t have the same tools and customization options that other CRM systems offer.

Sometimes it's hard to find the option you want or understand the process flow. Need a way to bring up a hierarchy of business contacts at a single company. Would like a import function with LinkedIn. Features like constant contact for email marketing.

As a user, I can see the potential in the customization of zoho. I’ve worked with two companies that implemented zoho, one from the ground up and my current employer who has had it in place for a while. It’s flexible and customizable and meets all our needs for sending and receiving sales documents and for keeping customer records and reviewing my sales.
Our crm has not scaled well with having 100+ employees.
It’s been mostly a streamlined experience using zoho. The biggest downfall is how slow it’s been, but I’m not an admin and couldn’t say how to fix it.

I found Zoho CRM to be very customizable to meet the needs of the users. I was able to easily set and control the categories that my sales team was reporting on. I found it very user-friendly, and met all of our needs. The mobile app made it easy for our sales team to update their prospects on the fly after calls or meetings, so it was always up to date.
It was difficult for me to integrate with our e-mail service to pull in data for segmentation, otherwise I thought it was a great tool. .
Zoho was a good CRM tool for our basic needs - we just needed one central location to manage our sales contacts and pipeline. It standardized the reporting to upper management and made sure that we had a good sense of the upcoming sales prospects and continuity if a sales person left the company.
